SHINee to hold first in-person concert in almost 7 years

Boy band SHINee during its 15th anniversary meet and greet held on May 28 and 29 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, southern Seoul [SM ENTERTAINMENT]


SHINee will hold its sixth standalone concert “SHINee World VI [Perfect Illumination]” from June 23 to 25, according to the boy band’s agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.

This is SHINee’s first in-person concert in six years and nine months since “SHINee Concert ‘SHINee World V’” in 2016. It is also the band’s first concert in general since “Beyond LIVE - SHINee : SHINee World” streamed online in 2021.

Three runs will take place at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul’s Olympic Park. Ticket sales open first for members of SHINee’s official fan club on June 5 at 7 p.m. and then for the general public opens on June 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the booking website yes24.com.

The last day of the concert on June 25 will be livestreamed worldwide via streaming platform Beyond LIVE. Further information will be available on SHINee’s official social media accounts.

SHINee debuted in May 2008 with "Replay," and currently consists of four members — Onew, Taemin, Key and Minho. They have been one of the most beloved and longest-running acts in K-pop with multiple hits, including "Ring Ding Dong" (2009), "Lucifer" (2010), "Sherlock" (2012) and "View" (2015).

The band recently had its 15th anniversary meet and greet session in Jamsil Indoor Stadium, southern Seoul, on May 27 and 28. The session was livestreamed to 102 regions around the world.
