Girl group Fifty Fifty will release a new song for the upcoming film "Barbie," titled "Barbie Dreams."

The agency Attrakt confirmed the news with the Korea JoongAng Daily on Friday.

"Barbie," slated for U.S. release on July 21, is a live-action film based on Mattel's popular fashion doll franchise, Barbie. The film stars actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken.

The official soundtrack for the movie, titled "Barbie: The Album," will feature renowned artists, including singer-songwriter Dua Lipa, rapper Nicki Minaj hip-hop singer Lizzo, rapper Ice Spice and more.

With actor Ryan Gosling himself also named as one of the artists involved in the soundtrack, more artists featured in the album will be revealed at a future date.

The soundtrack will drop on July 21.

Fifty Fifty — with members Keena, Saena, Sio and Aran — debuted on Nov. 23 last year with its first EP, "The Fifty." The group's latest release, "Cupid," which dropped on Feb. 24, was received positively overseas while remaining relatively less known in Korea.
