ZeroBaseOne will join Mnet’s proprietary private messaging service Chat on May 1, its service operator, CJ ENM, said Tuesday.

Chat is a subscription-based tool similar to SM Entertainment’s DearU bubble and HYBE’s Weverse DM services. It is available on CJ ENM's and Mnet’s K-pop fan application Plus Chat.

ZeroBaseOne originally offered private messaging services on DearU bubble. The platform announced on April 11 that its bubble service would end on April 30.

Fans subscribed to ZeroBaseOne’s Chat will be able to chat with the band members and watch its livestreams, according to CJ ENM.

Fans who subscribe to the band's service from the first week of its launch, between May 1 and May 7, will receive a 50 percent discount. All subscribers will receive exclusive wallpapers and digital badges.

ZeroBaseOne, also stylized as ZB1, is a nine-member project group formed through Mnet’s idol audition program “Boys Planet” (2023). The band will drop prerelease single “Sweat” on April 24 ahead of its third EP, “You had me at HELLO,” which is coming May 13.
