Twice, Day6, Blackpink's Jisoo top Favorite weekly chart

Girl group Twice claimed victory on Favorite’s fourth weekly chart of March.

Favorite is a K-pop fan poll co-developed by digital streaming service Bugs and the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.

Weekly chart rankings are calculated through a combination of fan votes and an artist’s number of streams on Bugs.

Twice received a score of 60.7 percent, garnering a total of 259,175 votes and 1.5 percent of Bugs’ streaming numbers to land in first place.

Boy band DAY6 followed in second place with a score of 19.3 percent, with 24,977 votes and 13.6 percent of Bugs’ streaming data. Blackpink’s Jisoo landed third with 14.8 percent, which accounted for 64,010 votes and 0.2 percent of Bugs’ streaming data.

Celebratory videos of Twice and DAY6 will play at the Parnas Media Tower, located near COEX Mall in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, from Saturday to April 12.

Virtual boy band Plave ranked No. 1 on the essential; Playlist poll, with 20,209 votes and 0.7 percent of Bugs streaming data to earn a score of 34.9 percent.

The essential; music playlist is Bugs’ curated music playlist series. A Plave-themed playlist will be released via YouTube and Bugs on April 18.
