Trendz announces album release ahead of Japanese debut

Boy band Trendz [GLOBAL H MEDIA]

Boy band Trendz is set to release a new album on June 12 ahead of its debut in Japan, announced by the band’s agency Global H Media on Tuesday.

The upcoming release marks the band’s first music in nine months since the drop of “Still On My Way” in September last year. The band’s label did not specify whether the new album would be a single, EP or full-length album.

Following the release in Korea, Trendz will hold its Japanese debut showcase at the KT Zepp Yokohama venue in the summer, as announced by the agency in early April. Avex Trax will manage the band’s activities in Japan, although a specific debut date was not provided.

Trendz made their debut in 2022 as a seven-member band with their first EP, "Blue Set Chapter 1. Tracks." Before their debut, the band gained recognition for uploading dance cover videos of popular K-pop songs.

The band recently concluded its first world tour, "New Dayz."
