Entertainment company Big Planet Made Entertainment, home to Taemin, VIVIZ and BE’O, will launch its first K-pop act: girl group Badvillain.

The group will make its debut in the first half of 2024, according to the agency’s press release Thursday.

A teaser video featuring the group members’ silhouettes was uploaded to Big Planet Made’s social media page at midnight on Wednesday.

Six people are featured in the video, but the agency did not share the exact number of Badvillain’s members.

Big Planet Made was founded in July 2021. It is a subsidiary under One Hundred, a company cofounded by rapper MC Mong and Piark Group chairman Cha Ga-won. The company has a strategic alliance with Swing Entertainment, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, and Million Market, also a subsidiary of One Hundred and a former subsidiary of SM Entertainment.

Kim Dong-joon, the previous co-CEO of SM Culture & Contents, joined the company as its CEO in December last year.

The label most recently signed Taemin of boy band SHINee. It also houses singers Lee Mu-jin, Huh Gak and comedian Lee Su-geun.
