Jang Da-a, older sister of girl group IVE's Jang Won-young, will make her acting debut with a Tving original series, according to her agency Kingkong by Starship.

"Jang Da-a is confirmed to make an appearance on the upcoming Tving original drama' Pyramid Game,'" the agency told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Friday.

"Pyramid Game," based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name that ran from 2020 to 2022, will star actor and singer Kim Ji-yeon — more known by her stage name Bona as a member of girl group WSJN — and Jang, according to media reports on Thursday.

Jang Da-a was born in 2001 and is three years older than Jang Won-young. Jang Won-young first debuted as a member of IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by cable network Mnet in 2018. After the girl group disbanded in 2021, she made her second debut in 2021 under Starship Entertainment as a member of girl group IVE.

Jang Da-a became a model for Acuve, a contact lens brand, in April.

Kingkong by Starship Entertainment is Starship Entertainment's sub-division focusing on managing actors. The company currently manages actors Jeon So-min, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Beom and Lee Kwang-soo.
