Lee Chae-yeon to release new music in September

Singer and dancer Lee Chae-yeon [WM ENTERTAINMENT]

Singer and dancer Lee Chae-yeon will return with new music in September, her agency WM Entertainment said Friday.

Lee debuted as a member of Mnet's project girl group IZ*ONE in 2018.

"Lee Chae-yeon will come back with new music in early September," WM Entertainment said in a press release Friday. "She is currently working hard on her upcoming album."

"It will be a fast comeback, followed by her second EP 'Over The Moon' which was released in April," it added.

Her most recent album "Over The Moon," released in April, became a hit after its dance became a viral social media challenge. Lee's challenge video with her younger sister, ITZY's Chaeryeong, garnered 1.5 million views as of August.

She dropped her first solo album "Hush Rush," an EP, in October 2022.
