Enhypen’s Heeseung, Jay and Ni-Ki to throw out first pitch for Seattle Mariners game

K-pop boy band Enhypen’s Heeseung, Jay and Ni-Ki will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a major league game on April 29.

The Seattle Mariners announced on their social media channel that the artists will throw out the pitch before the team's game against the Atlanta Braves at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. Jay, who is from Seattle, is known to be a big fan of the Mariners.

Fans of the boy band can purchase a customized t-shirt featuring the band's logo, the Mariners name and the compass logo at the Mariners' official website.

Enhypen will tour the U.S. for its "Fate Plus World Tour” in April and May. The band will make stops at Anaheim's Honda Center for a concert on April 24, followed by Oakland at the Oakland Arena on April 26, Tacoma Dome in Seattle on April 28, Chicago's Allstate Arena on May 1, and Belmont Park in New York on May 3.

The band debuted with seven members in November 2020 under Belift Lab, a HYBE subsidiary. The band was formed in September of the same year through cable network Mnet and HYBE's audition show “I-LAND” (2020). The members are Sunghoon, Jay, Jake, Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunoo and Ni-ki.
