BoyNextDoor to make Japanese debut in July

Boy band BoyNextDoor [KOZ ENTERTAINMENT]

Boy band BoyNextDoor will make its Japanese debut with single "AND" on July 10, its agency KOZ Entertainment said Monday.

The band's Japanese debut single will contain one original Japanese song and Japanese versions of the band's Korean tracks "One and only," "But Sometimes" and "Earth, Wind & Fire," all released in 2023.

"The expectations are high for BoyNextDoor's Japanese debut, as the band's second EP 'HOW?,' released last month in Korea, saw popular reaction in Japan," KOZ Entertainment said in a press release.

BoyNextDoor sat at No. 2 on the Japanese music chart Oricon's weekly albums chart with "HOW?" and topped the Hot Album chart on Billboard Japan.

BoyNextDoor debuted in May 2023 with its debut single “WHO!” under KOZ Entertainment, a HYBE subsidiary founded by rapper Zico of Block B. The band’s six members are Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jae-hyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak.

The band is set to perform at the Summer Sonic 2024 festival in Japan along with leading K-pop acts, including IVE and ZeroBaseOne.
