Boy band Mirae to come back with new album in July

Boy band Mirae will be back with a new album, the boy band's agency DSP Media announced Wednesday.

"Mirae will come back next month. [The album] will include never-seen-before charms of Mirae, so I hope you look forward to it," DSP Media, a subsidiary of RBW, said in a press release Thursday.

The agency added that the boy band is in the final stages of album release preparations.

The upcoming release will be Mirae's first album following its fourth EP "Ourturn" which dropped in September 2022. The boy band also released its special single, "Snow Prince," in December, followed by a collaborated single, "Energetic," which the boy band featured on.

Mirae debuted in 2021 with its first EP "Killa." The seven boy band members consist of six Korean members — Lee Jun-hyuk, Yoo Dou-hyun, Khael, Son Dong-pyo, Park Si-young, Jang Yu-bin — and one Japanese member, Lien.

Lee and Son are known for their appearance on Mnet's 2019 boy band auditioning program "Produce X 101," where Son came sixth in the final contest, making his debut as a member of the project boy band X1.

Khael and Park Si-young participated in MBC's boy band auditioning program "Under Nineteen" in 2018.
