Alex will leave Drippin and the agency, the boy band's agency Woollim Entertainment said Friday.

Alex has been taking a break from group and individual activities since Jan. 26 due to health issues. Born in 2004 in Germany, Alex was the youngest member of the band.

"After long discussions with [Alex] and his parents, [Alex and the agency have] come to an agreement to wrap up his journey with Drippin and end the exclusive contract with the agency," Woollim Entertainment said in a statement on Friday.

"We would like to thank Alex for being with Woollim Entertainment. We will cherish the moments we shared with Alex and support him in his future journey."

Drippin will continue its activities as a six-member band — Lee Hyeop, Hwang Yun-seong, Joo Chang-uk, Kim Dong-yun, Kim Min-seo and Cha Jun-ho, Woollim Entertainment added.

Drippin debuted under Woollim Entertainment in 2020. The boy band's latest album is "Seven Sins," released in April 2023.
