Seventeen’s latest album 'FML' lands at No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart

Boy band Seventeen’s latest album “FML” landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart in the upcoming update for the week of May 13, the U.S.-based music service announced on Monday.

This is the boy band’s best-ever record set on Billboard’s main chart and the fifth time the boy band's album has ranked. It follows “Your Choice” (2021), “Attaca” (2021), “Face the Sun” and “Sector 17” (2022). Seventeen’s three most recent albums have landed in the top 10 of the chart.

“FML” also topped Billboard’s Hot Trending Song Chart for the week of May 6, with “I Don’t Understand But I Luv U” landing at No. 1, followed by “Dust” at No. 5, “April Shower” at No. 9, lead track “Super” at No. 10 and “Fire” at No. 15.

Seventeen released its 10th EP “FML” on April 24, with double lead tracks “F*ck My Life” and “Super.” It became the only album in the world to sell 3 million copies on the first day of its release, and became the most sold album in the first week of its release in the history of K-pop, with 4.55 million copies sold.

Member Woozi once again took the lead in producing the songs, joined by bandmates S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon and Dino, who took part in either writing lyrics or composing music.

Thirteen-member boy band Seventeen which debuted in 2015 is known for its hit tracks “Very Nice” (2016), “Pretty U” (2016), “Left & Right” (2020), “HOT” (2022) and more. Seventeen BSS, the boy band’s three-member subunit, most recently released its single “Second Wind” with the lead track “Fighting” (2023).
