Comedian Kang Ho-dong will star in Kakao TV’s upcoming entertainment web show, according to the over-the-top (OTT) streaming service on Tuesday.

Kakao TV announced that Kang is working with Chief Producer Kim Min-jong to prepare a new Kakao TV entertainment show.

“The filming will take place this month and the show will launch in the first half of this year,” said the streaming service.

KakaoTV is an OTT streaming service owned by Kakao Entertainment, a subsidiary of the internet company Kakao. The service recently launched entertainment shows each spearheaded by star comedians Lee Kyung-kyu, Noh Hong-chul and Hong Jin-kyung.
