Boy band Vanner debuted in February 2019 under VT Entertainment. Prior to its debut, the five members held more than 200 live performances in Japan in order to train.
The group's name is a portamanteau of Banner and Victory.
It consists of five members: Taehwan, Gon, Hyesung, Ahxian and Yeongkwang.
In 2023, Vanner starred on JTBC's survival show "Peak Time" which aired from February to April. The show aimed to shed light on already-debuted but lesser-known boy bands. Vanner took first place on the final episode and rose to prominence.
The boy band's fandom is dubbed VVS, derived from the high diamond clarity grade "Very Very Slightly included."
After winning "Peak Time," Vanner signed with KLAP Entertainment.
