The name "boy next door" is meant to give a friendly and approachable vibe, according to the agency. The band was the first new boy band to debut under HYBE this year.
ZICO worked as the executive producer of BOYNEXTDOOR's debut single "WHO!" and "WHY..," with members Myung Jaehyun, Taesan and Woonhak involved in the album production as well.
ONEDOOR is BOYNEXTDOOR's fandom name. It refers to the fact that its fans are the "only door" that leads to the world.
